Yes enough changed in the last 10 years under the scum.
I would vote tory, except I think that labour has done quite a good job
.
Oh.
My.
God.

hmmm... im going to eat breakfast... thanks for reminding me
Shame the rest of the UK don't agree that Labour are doing such a good job:
400,000 in 2006 btw.The ONS press release headlines record emigration.................
British emigration is also a record at 126,000, having doubled since 1997.
And I'll be going soon, this Country is going to the dogs, all under Labour.
Last one to leave, please turn off the light....
Oh then factor in the £7800 worth of tax raises.
Household tax has risen by £7,800 a year under Labour, says thinktank | Money | guardian.co.uk
I could go on, but don't want to hijack the thread, but I honestly, honestly, don't know of a single person who thinks things have improved under Labour. Not one. And I live in the black country - that's incredible.
Well they got voted in again didn't they?
Could be unrelated to labour... (at least some of the increase is)
Comparative to how I think the tories would have done labour has done a good job. It easy to say they should have done this or that and disagree with a few policies... but its a damn hard job and if you think you could do better, by all means join/start up a party! Its a democracy!
Leave the switch on... around 99% of the people are here to stay
Just like it did under the last Tory government then?
Let's face it Labour moved right, Conservatives stayed where they were and Lib Dem never has a hope of getting real power. We're stuff whatever
I voted Lib Dem on the basis that our local candidate makes a damn good MP regardless of which party he's with.
Not by the English. Labour lost in the English vote - they only got in due to Scotland.
It's obvious the increase is linked to Labour.
You're talking about a party who got in on the back of the Sleaze allegations, and then proceeded to be the sleaziest party ever seen.
Labour have destroyed this Country, from top, to bottom.
Don't get me wrong, I thought they were right to come in to power in 1997, should have been out straight after that.
I honestly can't believe anyone could be happy under Labour atm.
I'll start a thread with a vote as not to hijack this one.
TBH, that's not a big deal... Its being pumped back into the economy... and more taxes are needed to pay off the public debt that the tories accumulated*
Maybe this deserves its own thread...
*I was 10 when tories lost power, so this might be a bit untrue lol
Can I just point out that I do not have my own house nor do I have a Range Rover, and that I do look ahead or I wouldn't be overpaying into my company pension quite heavily even though I've yet to hit 30
I choose not to have a house since I wil be able to wait for 3-4 years and get one for so much less than they currently cost that I'll have spent far less in rent in that time.
Eh? Just mentioning the word month in a statement does not mean I only think month to monthIf you're only thinking month to month, how about looking 5 years ahead? Or until your retirement?
If someone can comfortably afford their mortgage and a range rover, then after the Mortgage is over they will obviously be able to afford a better Range Rover.
"In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship."
Dependant on how well the Tories did, vote Labour back in, or keep them in.
How about if we had a facist government then we'd all be employed in the armed forces or to build war ships or something...
or is that just on civ?
Alternatively... bring back the good old victorian work house, sorted!
