luckily When I did my exams we didn't have broadband so I just gave my mother the RJ-11 cable from the modem to the phone socket and told her to put it in her purse and she gave it back once my exams were finished.

Eeek - I'm showing my age there
i'm doing e-revision mainly though, Sam learning, MyMaths, bitesize.. things like that, so i need the internet, this is gonna be my last post for at least this week..

about to tidy my room and find all my revision guides and school books and find TDU, i'll send the pic off to Nick..

but if a mod is to read this, is there anyway you could 'ban' me until the 12th of june when my last exam is?
so that then i can't even waste valuabe revision time looking on here, too much of a temptation..

    Re: Duck and cover.....

hmmm sammyc, i know the NHS assigned you as my court appointed carer, but it is annoying that you remember everything, as long as you don't mention that alligator/crocodile incident involving TAKTAK then i'll let you into my house to enjoy the cake that tiggerai isn't eating...

and no you can't have tea at a more sensible time, if you're unemployed and wake up at 1pm then 2am is the most sensible time for tea! find me a job then you can have it earlier, until then it's staying at 2am..

failing that i need a new IDE dvd drive, the one i was using the trays broken.. and just so everyone knows, they can't be used as cup holders... so in effect i can't play games anymore, .

why are there no smilies available in the quick reply box?

can i go now, the monkey slaves i've been training have pushed my car back home now..

I will start being sensible after everyones done their exams, so when they come back they've got something amusing to read in their catch-up thread reading session, to stave off the misery of failing their exams.. whats your excuse?

Is that an excuse to be sensible or insensible? I hope it's the former, you never need an excuse to act like an idiot Like me

    Re: Duck and cover.....

my excuse for being an idiot, other than the one i mentioned in my previous post, is that by being sensible everyone comes to expect you being like that all the time, so when you do something not 'normal' then you get carted off to the shrink and put on medication until you start acting sensible all the time.

    but...

if you are not sensible all the time then people come to accept you being like that, so when you actually do something sensible then you get appreciated more and it shocks the other people and surprises them.

thats why i'm being not very sensible in 'general discussion' and the 'welcome to hexus' sections. it kid of evens out my utter genius in solving peoples problems in the 'techy and hardware'..

soooo basically being an idiot some of the time balances out being sensible.. karma you see, yin and yang, chalk and cheese, cornflakes and custard... hmmmmmm

ooh 300 posts yey!!! wonder what the proportion of sensible to idiot is?
