Re: Do your big toes click?

everything clicks on me - knees, toes, fingers, shoulder, neck... so on..

started from various sources.. broken collar bone when fallen off sofa, sister smashing my hand in door, me smashing other hand on milk bottle, me smacking head on pavement numerous times... and then i turned age 2..

had a few car crashes since - they made some bits click..

but i have no idea why my nose clicks when I 'sniffle' or blow it...

and toes click because how often do you scrunch them up? the cartilage settles due to lack of use, not as flexible as it should be- then it clicks when your toe wiggles.. or something like that - might not be true, but it makes sense..

No, my big toes don't click...but it sure seems like all my other joints click or pop.

Big toes, knuckles, elbows, neck, back, knee's oh and ankles.

No idea why, the main ones though are knucles and knee's if I stretch my legs out theres a good chance the knee's will crack!

Re: Do your big toes click?

I can crack both my big toes although they don't tend to go off without me doing it deliberately. After I badly bruised my right foot in a motorbike accident when I was 17 my right big toe clicked all the time just by flexing it. I couldn't resist doing it (I've been a knuckle cracker since I was about 8) but it used to get very sore after a while. After a few years it got better.

I can click the middle joints on my fingers and thumbs as well as the joints where they connect to the hand. If it's true that clicking fingers causes arthritis in old age then I am going to be properly screwed. I'm 29 now though with no obvious ill effects showing (although the circulation in my fingers is poor, they seem to get cold very easily).

Re: Do your big toes click?

Virtually every joint I have cracks, particularly my big toes, knees and elbows. They've done it for as long as I can remember but things like rugby, running with weight, falling off horses and the like have all contributed to it too, I'm sure.

I can also crack my sternum. I split it when I was in my teens and sometimes it pops in and out of position with an audible (and painful) sound.

Other than that, I'm in not too bad shape really.

Re: Do your big toes click?

Seriously (from the toes up) this is my clicking catalogue:

All toes, ankles, knees, pelvis/hips, back (I can make that sound like a tap-dancer on bubble wrap), shoulders, neck, wrist and knuckles.

But most of those are self induces when I feel a little stiff.

Re: Do your big toes click?

My elbow click when I do push-ups. I don't feel anything, but it's a bit distracting/worrying. I actually think that I could get my toe to click when I was a kid, but it doesn't anymore (and I'd rather keep it that way).

Re: Do your big toes click?

Yes my big toes click. Both of them. Also my ankles click when I walk. Not all the time but most of the time.

I can make other parts of me click, but that is more voluntary like cracking you chuckles etc. The clicking in my toes and feet is something that I can't control and just happens when I walk. It's evidently nothing to worry about, but it ruined my job as a ninja.

Re: Do your big toes click?

I can make it click but it doesn't do it of it's own accord.

My wrists click when I turn them though, which is strange. I thought they'd be used to typing all day by now.
