No one else will get involved in this other than to talk to both sides about a cease fire.
Any talk of peace though can only start with both sides accepting that south ossetia should be completely de-militerised by both partys.
It's alright to talk about claim and counter claim, but untill the UN observers are back in South Ossetia seeing what happened then no-one and i do mean no-one will know what happened.
Don't think too much into that, the simple fact is that the worlds free press are in Gori and Geogia and are seeing for themselves what is happening there, admittedly though it seems that no press have been aloud to get to South Ossetia from any country so we don't know the situation there.
What you mean 'thinking the US would send its own forces in'? You think Georgia were banking on US troops fighting the Russians? The first act of WWIII and possible destruction of everyone and everything, because of a bit of disputed Russian agression in South Ossetia?
That is very doubtful.
Or have I misunderstood?
Georgians have killed 2000 civilians of southern Ossetia, have destroyed the whole city. And you worry about Georgia. Also hate Russia, for that that it saves lives of civilians.
I hear the Georgians were also killing kittens, puppies and cute baby penguins with hammers, and then laughing about it. The Russian army were not firing bullets or shells, they were armed with flower petals and milkshake.
You sound like a properganda film from the early 1940s. Please shut up.
"WE HAVE ALSO SHOT DOWN TWO GEORGIAN DEATH STARS ORBITING THE MOON"
In the internets, no one can hear you sarcasm.
The Georgians are coming...
South Ossetia and Abkhazia have the right to freedom also as Kosovo. Otherwise we have double standards.
Politicians deceive all also it to trust it is impossible.
The weapon of mass destruction is not found In Iraq. And oil of Iraq belongs to Americans.
If the Georgians arent in South Ossetia how come they just announced that they are trying to withdraw? they are there, they have been shelling towns / cities, as shown by the BBC before the Russians mobilised. They even announced that they were going to free the South Ossetians, thats good of them, did they ask to be freed? BBC reporters are interviewing troops that have returned back in to Georgian held terratory after fighting the Russians. God knows what the Georgians were trying to achieve, the Russians were clearly aware they were up to something and have been telling everybody that the Georgians were mobilising for an attack for months.
Heres a link for the the late last week, you will notice Georgias aim to finish "a criminal regime" and restore order.
