Why do you keep talking about CNN as the only 'free press' as you put it? I live in the UK and i'm sure there are other on hear from Europe and the US. Now i watch the bbc news as i can 99% of the time trust them.
Also are you trying to say Russia have not hit one single civilian house/apartment block? And here is another thing when Russian said it was not targeting Gori, over on the BBC news 24 what do we have a report from Gori with Russian aircraft in the skies above.
One last point I was against the War in Iraq! But it was not CNN who came up the supposedly weapons of mass destruction it was the American Pentagon.
Now i'm a bit tired of arguing the same fact, so i'll say this; Russia and Georgia are as bad as each other at the moment. Georgia was stupid to think it could win, and Russia has used disproportionate forces outside the conflict zone.

There are casual victims on war and there is a purposeful destruction of peace inhabitants as in South Ossetia
Eastern Europe and mainly the ex soviet states- the biggest threat to our safety. The countries in the area should know not to try to do things Russia would not like- they are looking for any excuse to throw their weight around and show their power.
Obviously Putin is still running the place as we have not heard hide nor hair from the new president.

I just read something very interesting in the paper. Apparently the Chinese government is paying students by the post for posting good things about China and the Olympics on western forums and so on. I'm just wandering if our Russian friends here are being paid by the Kremlin?
