damn, and here was me thinking it was going to be something dreadful like this after yesterdays debacle:
i think someone should get this tho :
but all it needs doing really is a bit of road widening to straighten and tidy the edges
he stated it was just the outline? so i'm guessing it would of been developed properly and neater.
Not the worst I've seen by a long shot, hopefully lesson learned though
Should be very fixable if you seek out a better artist

It's not horrendous. I reckon some colour would make it look a lot better...
Speaking as one with many tattoo's, and tattooist friends... Firstly, a good tattooist will be able to make that look better without breaking a sweat, & it's going to look better anyway when it's healed. Thicken up the linework a bit & it'll smooth out nice.
Traul tattooists in the area for one that specialises in tribal and cover-ups, ask them what they suggest & have a look at their portfolio's....and don't panic, that's well fixable.
Thanks everyone. I've been to see a tattooist and hes going to fix it for me but he's unable to do so until the 4th of October as he's booked up solid which is a good sign. He knows of the tattooist that did my original one and has had people in to be fixed before.
I've done all the things i should of done with this in the first place like looking at his work etc. So now I'm counting the days until i go see him, looks like its jumpers for me for the next 4 weeks.
I take it that it was done free hand? If not, the tattooist needs shooting and even if he was using a stencil he still needs a bloody good slapping.
Cheep up though chap, once a decent tattooist gets his hands on it you will have yourself a very nice tattoo Regret is all part of having a tattoo, your just getting the feeling a lot earlier than most people do I regret a couple of mine, but that's only because I want others ones where they are
Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean
let us know once you get an update!
Are there any kind of tattoo forums which rate artists? if so perhaps you should post a review of
the one that did yours in the first place so others in the future wont make the same mistake.
Of course if the new one does a good job you can big him up.
I feel really sorry for you, that Tattoo is one of the worst I've ever seen. I hope you get a refund and take your buisness to another artist they might be able to fix it.
Also there is a new treatment to remove tattoos it involves injecting a substance underneath the skin where the tattoo is, the substance then causes the ink to bubble to the surface and scab over. Once the scab falls off the tattoo is gone and your skin is left unharmed. This treatment is now available from some plastic surgeons and is painless (compared to laser) so if you really want to get rid of it I'd suggest researching that.
Don't worry about it anyway as you are getting it sorted and looking at it that will be easy to do. Good Tattooists can work wonders. Finding a good one is the hard bit. I know a few and they are awesome.
I only wanted 1 Tattoo but now have 10! Crazy me! I myself have one that needs re-working but i haven't found the time to get it done. It is a tribal one but i want it re-worked with my daughters name in it, somehow.
Good luck on the 4th and keep us posted.

It's called Rejuvi, sounds interesting (if a bit early in the day to judge how good it is yet). [quote from full article] Stuart Harrison, director of Oxford Skin Clinics, which has just started using the process in its Harley Street, Richmond and Oxford clinics said: 'It is uncomfortable rather than painful but it is less painful than having the tattoo itself and certainly a lot less painful than having laser treatment ...Mr Harrison claims that this cream has a minimal risk of scarring. He added: 'There is a risk of scarring but it is probably no worse than an ordinary cut. 'Aftercare is important to minimise the risk of any scaring.' However, the efficacy of Rejuvi has been questioned on some U.S. chat forums.
(posted this out of interest to anyone in general; not implying you'd get yours removed, burtie good luck with the re-work).
