Why is lingerie so expensive?

with out sounding too pervy, i'm quite particular about buying lingerie.

Last time i did, i got some change from 200, you do seam to get what you pay for mostly.....

That nightie isn't really worth it imo thou, it needs someone who is busty, yet dosen't require any pushing n lifting support. Not that gooda choice for the money imo.

Well, Lingerie has to be styled and it's bloody hard work (no pun intended)

The sheer difficulty of making a tiny piece of fabric LOOK NICE/SEXY/ATTRACTIVE, and to make a femine form look appelaing and desirable is a masterpiece of effect or disaster.

And yes, I spent a lot of my child hood surrounded by models in lingerie. When quite young, both of my parents worked for a very expensive Italian Lingerie importer and I have seen more naked models, and more discarded knickers than I care to recall, and I've snuck secret samples into famous London Dept Stores to the lingerie counter.

C'mon they don't have to work that hard. Men are Men and anything remotely sexy will do the job (just me?).

I find boxers quite cute (on a woman!), maybe it'll be a £3.50 England shirt and a 3 pack of boxers from Primark...
