Thank you. Am over the moon! I was thinking just the other day how lovely it would be to have a new Baby in the Family ( not like I don't see enough Babies at work, but ya know! just love 'em lol ) however, I will be a Great Aunt! not sure if I like that, it is for the greater good though.

Re: What was great about 2008? [A thread of positivity]

The only two things that went well for me this year have been the following

    1) Going to my school reunion and coming to the realisation that I wasn't the most hated person in school even though it felt and seemed like it. Going to that helped me to bury so many of my deamons from that time. Things that I'd been allowing to haunt me and hold myself back, I've been able to draw a line under it all and say that will no longer let it beat me.

    2) Because of the above, I've got a bit more confidence about myself, as a result I've been going out alot more with friends. Normally I'd stay in and just play games on the PC and generally be a misserable old sod. Now it's sort of strange if I don't go out at least once a week. Hoping this will lead to some female attention

Year I married my fantastic wife, and had an Awesome 3 week honeymoon in the USA (LA, San Diego, Highway 1, San Fran, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Death Valley and New York) Some of which was travelled in a Mustang. Fantastic.

I got promoted. And the house price crash which I had been wishing for started in spectacular fashion.

    Shame about the recession though.

    i avoided redundancy
Went to my first and second lan's
managed to actually pass some as-levels (after 2 failed attempts)
Passed my theory test (on the first attempt)
Fianlly started getting my life back on track after years of slacking off

If I took my wife to be to a place called death valley on our honeymoon she would ask a lot of questions

    Sounds awesome though
