I have departed OcUK - So am I welcome here?

    Hi there

Well I've been a lurker here for a couple of years and also had a previous account but was never able to be part of this community without the risk of getting into serious trouble as I dont think its any secret that the owner of this site and the owner of OcUK do not get along due to a fall out many years ago.

Anyway yes I have left OcUK, a chain of events which was all started when my pay was cut by approx 25% with no warning or prior agreement from myself, so I of course stood up for my rights but during such time I got a better job offer, both better money and better career opportunity plus the fact its a whole much better company to work for in the first place because customer really is number 1 and they are willing to be very competitive.

However Spie at OcUK agreed to match the new offer so at the time I thought OK I will stay because in all fairness I would miss working the guys at OcUK and miss the forums too, but on December 17th Spie went back on the agreement of matching the new job offer but did agree to keep me on my original pay.

However the job offer was still there so I took it, I thought it was time to have a fresh start and more so in a company going places and as such on December 19th I left OcUK.

So as I was promptly banned from those forums its time for me to find new communities to post within and Hexus is one of those places as I see a lot of familar faces and old ones all of who I got along with.

Yes I also know there are a few here who dont like me as well or may have questions to ask and I am happy to answer questions but please at the same time dont expect me to start saying bad things about OcUK or Spie, I am not here to do that but here to move on.

If I am welcome here then superb, if not then you won't here much more from me.

Oh and finally Happy new year guys!

I certainly can't see why you wouldn't be welcome.

As for talking about OcUK, feel free to say nothing at all if you wish. It may be better that way. If people ask questions and you want to answer, then okay. But if you start, people will probably ask a bit more then a bit more ..... and so on.

You said it yourself Gibbo ..... it's time to move on. If that includes moving on to here, then it's our gain and their loss. And whatever happened with Spie and OcUK is your business and theirs, and not really anything to do with anyone here.

Oh, and by the way ..... welcome aboard. Long time no talk. It must be five or six years since my OcUK days.

Well i've got no idea who you are, I've only visited the OCUK forums once or twice, so I (and most other Hexites I'd imagine) will treat you the same as any forum member

    Hello,

I've seen your name on my short stay at OcUK, glad to see you're being the better man and not registering on OCuk again under a different name or whatever.

    Welcome

    It's 4.98*
