    Hi there

Thanks and good to hear that, I never banned anyone at the other place for voicing an oppinion instead I preferred to reply and discuss issues wherever possible but there were several above me with far greater powers and bigger ban hammers should we say.

Once again thanks for the welcome guys!

One other thing guys when I try to edit my profile its telling me I dont have the athority to do so which leads me to believe my account is maybe not fully active as basically all I am trying to do is get my signature updated.

It's fully active. But some features require a post count to be achieved.

A couple of months ago, we cut down some features, and profile editing was one of them. The same applies to using PM's, etc. The reason, essentially, was spamming using profile fields, especially the 'home page' feature. Normally, it would activate those features after 15 posts, that being low enough that it doesn't take genuine people long to get there, but high enough that spammers either usually either don't bother or have been spotted sand ejected by then.

But as a long-standing (if inactive ) member, and an old friend, I've turned it on manually now.

There's a section in the FAQ about it. We do try to keep it up-to-date, but especially if trying something on a test basis, it might not be shown in there.

I saw your posts over a tpr as well with more info on the new job sound fun. I'm quite near their Portishead branch, but I've never called in or used them. I might have a looksie when I'm next passing.

Same here, although it was a while back when I last ordered from novatech.
I even had to rma a graphics card that was doa and novatech handled it very well and quickly
Which was a nice change from nearly 2months of mucking about OcUK had just put me through at the time.
Granted this was a good few year back.

hello gibbo and welcome to the forum!

just a few questions, feel free to not say anything.

why the hell did they just decide to cut your pay, isnt there legal action you could take?

also i thought those uptight geeks @ ocuk constantly whinged on about the forum having nothing to do with the shop, was you given a reason as to why they banned you?
i was banned on there for having a signature that was slightly too big, first offence aswell!! im sure you'll be a great addition to these boards mate it really is their loss.
isnt the owner of ocuk a fat nazi anyway? or were those just rumours? lol

Gibbo, I rarely pay much attention to other forums so I've no idea who you are. Sound's like you've made the best move though.
