I want to see someone make one with thick/industrial strength celotape. A transparent wallet... probably not the best idea

I've got some proper wide sellotape... but I only need one wallet and I think mine, after a few mods this morning will last a fair while

True, it isn't to his usual quality...

But the challenge has been laid...

I reckon Lee should make one out of SCAN packing tape

Hmmm...a challenge eh? Problem is I use the wallet seen at the top left in this pic. Madduck seems to know me too well It's only 'gold' embossing, no smelting going on here As for rare hides, I do like snake skin and crocodile a bit...

Also, we don't get hazard tape here in Sri Lanka; only terrible brown packing tape that leave your fingers all gummed up for days on end...

I think I'm going to go with Santa on this one...nice guide though, you really put some effort into it

Aww, it's no biggie TAKTAK . Besides, my money was on a racing certainty, there is no way a man of Mike's panache could have a bio-industrial-placky wallet thingy. It just ain't cricket

Great idea of yours though; very handy for the student years when you need beer proof protection for your dosh.

It's the making of that's the challenge though is it not, the taking up the gauntlet? Being a sport, there's your 'cricketing' spirit, surely. stir, stir
And it would be a one-off original...

Well, I have acknowledged TAKTAK's ingenuity.

But just imagine Mike had made a placky wallet, he would look at it and go "eew" and probably faint so the effort required to make one is redundant.

The wallet is a nice idea; but an inappropriate accoutrement for a gentleman .

Oh yes, I fully accept it would kill him to USE it or be SEEN with it but I would have liked to see what artistic twist he would have gone for, and he might have had SOME fun* making it... and fun is never wasted effort.

    * no come to think he would probably have had a conniption from having to get that near to synthetic substances.

    *BUMP*

So after a fair bit of daily usage (yes i really do use it every day wherever i am...):

Part of the ID Card bit snapped:

The card holder is completely loose at the bottom:

Easily solved with a few strips of tape though, 5 minutes and you're back up and running:

Also it was nice to see that another HEXITE at the LAN had made one with the biohazard tape (not mentioning names), although it totally confused me at first and i thought it was mine that had fallen out of my pocket, while doing my exhaust (), obviously with his own creative twist, namely a coin pocket.
