Never the less, always good to find someone who can argue his or her own corner without abusive language and some for of evidence.
The only thing I ever ask of any conspiracy theorist is that they put the same amount of time and effort into looking at the debunking arguments as they do into the conspiracy arguments.

    (For 9-11 this is a fantastic read http://www.popularmechanics.com/tech...w/1227842.html )

I don't believe them for a second, but you better believe I've read more conspiracy theories than most people who do believe them.

You shouldn't/can't argue without knowing both sides of an argument. It's poor form

Indeed, which is why when I am having a discussion about such things, I try finding information for both sides of the arguement.

Out of interest, who does believe man landed on the moon? I do. One can always find evidence for or against something.

Absolutely no shadow of a doubt, but then again this is an area of interest to me and I've done a lot of reading on the space program.

Re: Lunar Landings; End of the speculation?

I'm surprised he didn't ask why it wasn't grey

Actually what's more surprising is that they believed NASA would give them that much. Neil Armstrong, arguably one of the three people most deserving of getting a large chunk of moon, was recently given some moon rock after 40 years, and he got a tiny sliver in a plastic casing. NASA brought back almost 400kg of the stuff, 300kg is still untouched in hermetic storage and the rest is either on display, was given as small (and we're talking 0.1g-1g small) samples to people of great importance or has been used for research. The fact that they have what appears to be a large chunk and given to someone of, no offense to the Dutch, relatively little importance is laughable. Recently a 0.2g piece was auctioned for half a million dollars (that was *just* a sample that the russians collected during their luna robotic program). With good reason, moon rocks from the Apollo period were and still are practically beyond value.

And finally, most lunar rock is basalt which is characteristically grey or black - certainly not red.

@J. I think you would have loved this. It's something I had restored a while back; an Italian collector has it now.

This is a Speedmaster from '89, restored by Omega in Bienne,

Been reading Cernan's book "Last man on the moon"; such exciting stuff indeed. Thanks to the OP for this thread
