Farting - Fun or Filth?

I was once told by an American lady (my boss at the time) who, upon objecting to me letting one rip in my office, said that women go to the toilet to fart.

Is it funny? I don't know really. But they're dam satisfying sometimes X)

Farting is definately funny, especially in a group situation- although that group being friends helps! What is not funny is that when you are a student your flat mate does such a big turd that the bottom end disappears around the u-bend and the top end pokes out of the water. It had to be fenced with a toilet brush to get the brute down. Not funny on the last day of term!

I think it also depends where you drop one. I find the elevator @ Russel Square tube is a quality 'dumping ground', just to watch all the nervous accusing looks

At the right time there really isn't anything funnier!

At uni I lived in a house of 6 blokes and the air could get a bit thick in the evenings so we came up with some laws to govern all the trumping which would make things all the more funny. During the process of letting one rip you had to say safety before someone else called you on the fart at which point everyone was entitled to beat you up until you managed to reach the door.

I think it may have lost something in the retelling...
