I have started threads about the Nvidia Ion,GTS250 Green,GTX275, and single PCB GTX295 which are the only really interesting Nvidia releases in the last year.I did this way before anyone else too. OTH,ATI have released many more interesting cards!
Regarding AMD, nearly everyone on this forum(including me) were ready to write them off after the first Phenom. Once I looked at the excellent VFM the Phenom II processors offered in the last year of course I was going to recommend them especially since many people were entrenched in the Core2 is best mantra(including me).
They have revolutionised the sub £100 market unlike Intel in the last year. It was only the overclocking ability of the E5*** series which has still maintained them some credibility in this segment!!
I was the guy who linked to the first reviews about the socket Core i5 and Core i7 processors a,Q7600 and various other Intel processors too. Q6600 owners thread anyone??
You must realise I do own a Q6600 myself as I still use an old 975X and I have owned more Nvidia cards over the years than ATI ones but ATI are more interesting for me ATM!!

Skint closet fanboy to you dear sir!!
The last Nvidia cards I have owned was an 8800GTS 512MB which went bang on me and a passively 8500GT which I also hope won't do the same(blooming bumpgate!!). I also have an HD3870 and an HD4830 ATM.
Regarding desktops they are around three years old as I tend to keep my computers as long as possible. My main computer is a Shuttle SD37P2 with a 975X motherboard(has a Q6600) and a P35 based build with an E4300.
I see no need to upgrade yet as they both do the job well. I don't see why my own personal choices have to influence my recommendations to others if they are better value for money!!

For some reason post 41 reminds me of this video:

Yeah, I like it when they accuse you of being a fanboy (after having had nvidia cards before and being brand-atheistic ) and then act all the victim and accuse you of ad hominen when they get some of the same back and you point out they are worse than a fanboy even, they're a professional paid trollo

And back to the OP....
No.
I do find the moral outrage very interesting, from a professional perspective, in terms of corporate governance.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
