    Re: Big Purchase in 2010

    A holiday to Japan I guess! Will also get a 22" monitor too, another 4770 or 5770 and perhaps an SSD if they fall in price this year and perhaps something like a Q9400 or Q9450 if I come across one for sub £90 which is rare.

    EDIT: But am I a student... Going into university too.. How will I fund this?

    Re: Big Purchase in 2010

    Nothing especially big tech wise. New phone, new lens for my 40D perhaps (a wider fast prime than my 50mm would be good), more hard drives probably.

    I've got quite a lot I want to do with the flat this year instead.

    Nothing really here! This year I'm going to be finishing Uni and all that so I can't really do much I would LIKE to have a holiday for me and the lady maybe late/after the summer, but I have everything else I want right now. Except for a car. And an iMac heh.

    I'm pondering upgrading my D40x SLR to a D90 as there are a few features that I'd like to have when I'm out and about.
    ASUS P5K Premium || Q6600 || 4Gb RAM || 8800GTS

    Re: Big Purchase in 2010

    Tech wise, I shall resist. I may get a new phone, but it will have to be an upgrade. In 2009 I wanted to get an Xbox360, but after spending as much as I did in Japan, I really can't justify any big expense on toys this year (but will need to move to a new flat though).

    Scary thought that by December I could be driving...

    On that note:

    Absolutely! and i'm so jealous he's got the oppurtunity to go.... Though I had to despair of my elder brother who had to ask "What's Auschwitz?"

    Good luck on buying a car
