Re: Driving Test - 8th Feb. Tips?

My driving instructor told me that as a general rule of thumb, if it is after 12 o clock then use the right hand lane, before 12 o clock use the left hand lane, unless the road markings say otherwise, no matter how many exits.

Although my Nana's method was much better, just use the left hand lane for everything

That's only a minor part of it though, so if that is were you failed, then you're dead set for next time

    Your driving instructor is correct.

Unless you're a stupid Belgian old git, in which case you just drive round the outside leaving everyone to guess where you're going before you somehow manage to take the wrong side of the dual carriageway and cause two cars to slam on their brakes to avoid you. Then you carry on, on the wrong side of the road because those two cars weren't a big enough hint. You finally realise 4 miles down the road when you take the slip road and meet seventythreeeleven other cars all coming towards you. Then you try a 3 point turn, but you stall, over and over and over again. Finally after lurching eleventynine times you realise you can't start a car in gear without pressing the clutch and off you go, as if nothing ever happened.
