Are you a tidy person ?

Having a little boy is a serious stain on my nerves on this subject

But then there are my special days where I can be in the 'mood' and be running round cleaning the entire place from top to bottom at 6 am so people are greeted by the lovely smell of bleach and cleaning chemicals when they wake up.

That's actually something I'm not good at, I tidy, but I don't get the marigolds on and clean. Bathroom and kitchen get done when needed, but I'm not as fussy about them as the likes of my brother (considerably fussier than some people I know though), although my flat is generally tidier than his overall.

I just get on with it, scrub and clean while I have some music pumping with at least 120 bpm and some dirty bass lines and before you know it, the cleanings done.

I find cleaning up when you drunk is best, takes more than twice as long however it feels like it takes half the time, and waking up (hung over) in the morning to everything clean is great.

I'm getting better at tidy (ruthlessness with throwing / donating things that haven't moved in 3 years in my flat) and cleaning gets done in-depth when needed (someone visiting/getting annoyed with it)

It's definitely easier to clean and tidy when a certain point of tidyness has been reached. If things become worse it takes a huge amount of effort to raise things to the 'moderately tidy' level.

The worst my study ever got was losing a 17" CRT monitor for two minutes..

That sounds pretty much exactly like me too. The same applies to decorating: my sister and her family are coming to stay in a couple of weeks, so the bathroom just got painted
