Annoying facebook 'like' button on loads of websites?!

It's everywhere, and I mean everywhere....

look at/upload a photo to photobucket to photobucket 'Be the first of your friends to like this picture'

Browse a page on Gizmode/Engadget 'Like this'

It's doing my nut in, if you logout it totally logs you out of facebook not just that particular page. I've done all the opt-outs for facebook integration on certain sites as was being talked about recently but this must be something different.

Any way to kill it off other than logging out of facebook every time? It's not like it'll cause the end of the world (maybe) but I don't like to think that these sites get any info from me viewing their page while logged into facebook!

Honestly after having read about their practices, I wouldn't trust them with my dog's personal details. Every-time you opt out of one feature that shares your details a new one will emerge. I don't use facebook so can't really offer any advice other than RUN!
