Re: Welcome to our newest admin...

no matter which way you look at it, Peterb is Admin material. So we're very pleased to have him onboard.

Personally, scariest mod award for me, was more likely to go to 0iD... thing about 0iD is, you just don't REALLY know what he's thinking, or feeling..... and like The Stig, it's best not to know really

PeterB is clearer cut... he just won't put up with any rubbish, and tells you. Like Tiggeria, but not so much cake involved

I'm also personally very pleased Peter said yes to us... cos he's a righteous dude

Nice one Peterb... the right man.

Mods tend to have control over just one or two forums, like Scan employees moderate the scan section, although I think someone said a while back that all of the mods on Hexus happened to be "Super-mods" who can moderate all of the sections.

Generally speaking, admins have much more control over things like banlists, word filters, up into how the forums function, whereas mods tend to be able to edit posts, move threads, issue warnings, those types of things.

all that... and a larger hammer, a bigger spiky stick, and a nicer room to sit in.

I did wonder how long you guys spend 'working' per day, as a mod is there a minimum? I'd love the ability to clean some stuff up when i see it (SPAAAAAAM!)
