I didn't insinuate he/people living in the bible belt/hicks was/were/are incestuous, just that I would not be surprised if it had occurred

Same that I wouldn't be surprised if it was to rain later today based on previous experiences of it raining. I would however be very surprised if it started raining cats and dogs in a literal fashion

Don't get me wrong - I'm not talking about what he believes in, but it's his severe misconception of the way evolution works. Things change over millions and millions of years, just like how the mountains were made - its an impossible gradient of time to truly get our head around, since even all the way back to the era of Jesus 2000 years ago seems truly ancient. Then amplify that to get to 200,000,000 years and further back - to see a state of evolution as it was back then.

But even then you won't WITNESS evolution, it's not a flippin' movie. I think creationists refuse to acknowledge that point and prey on it despite it being quite an obvious fact.
Not to rub your face in the stupidity, but an American lady by the name of Christine O'Donnel recently won her U.S. Senate election primaries having previously stated that evolution was 'a myth' and more evidence existed supporting creationism. She's also anti-masturbation and believes homosexuality is a personality disorder. Stupidity goes all the way to the top.

But you SURE can be influenced by them... obviously.

What are you talking about? If specificaly about George Bush, or a section of American society then say. But if you are talking about the understanding of evolution and closed minds, then look elsewhere. from Afghanistan to Algeria, across the entire Muslim world you will find a much higher proportion of evolution deniers than in America. Also in Russia, Ukraine, and much of eastern Europe. India and China the same story.. so why is just America just a joke? surely based of that most of the world is a joke?

Source? If you don't back up your claims with some sort of evidence, you're just throwing around your opinions.

BTW, iirc, Chinese communists are atheists.

lol... source is me. they're not claims, it's common knowledge that Muslims refute evolution. if you can't be bothered to educate yourself, then that's your ignorance not mine. As for Russia and Ukraine, i am a speaker of the language, a frequent visitor and all my friends on VK (ВКонтакте /CIS facebook) are all either Roman catholic or orthodox. I have had the argument many times, and i have not met a single person who agrees with evolution.

as for Chinna "Chinese Communists" as you call them, are an example of state sponsored propaganda.

meh, same ballpark as Sweden, good enough for me nothing more cold and calculating, looking out into the infinite bleakness of nothing than furniture with stupid human names.
