Just saw that on the beeb, sad news.
I may not be a fan of the Apple ethos, but theres no doubt that Steve Jobs was involved in the creation of some revolutionary products and the development of the systems we all use.
RIP
We were all expecting it, but it is still a huge shock that it has actually happened. RIP

My grandad died today aged 90...
..... As apparently did a evil genius. Not just a little suspicious the day after the new iPhone was launched? Was Tim Cook's presentation really that bad?

Love him or loath him, he was a great man for the technology sector!
More:Former chief executive and co-founder of US technology giant Apple Steve Jobs has died, the company says. He was 56.
"Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve," Apple said.
Jobs announced he was suffering from pancreatic cancer in 2004.
Microsoft boss Bill Gates said Jobs' "profound impact" would " be felt for many generations to come".

Too young. RIP.
A loss of a true genius
I may not like Apple as a company but I still respect what Steve Jobs managed to accomplish
I respect Steve Jobs for the technology he brought to market, not for the business model or the methods of delivery.
Mind you, hes the only person on this planet to make more money out of sheep than the whole of New Zealand ever has... RIP Steve Jobs.
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net
Was never a fan of him or Apple but you can't deny his accomplishments. Phones, tablets and mp3 players would not even be close to what they are today without him...
the loss of influential figure , who will allways be known in history is a sad thing
