I would love to, but it always turn into phone calls every hour. For example at the moment I am put in charge of finding a good ISP for one cousin and buying a good webcam and microphone for another....

(As usual, there's the reminder calls.)
    Woohoo now Assistant Manager!

Indeed - When building I've found if you cut yourself and blood drops on the PC, the PC building gods smile upon thee and all goes swimmingly well with the build with no issues regarding stability.

I've been building mine for the last 16 years and plan to do so for the foreseeable future as I build to what I want my system for, plus it works out cheaper as well

The only thing I need now to finish my current system design is another PCI or even PCI-E based DVB-T tuner thats MCE 2005 compliant, oh and Vista extreme edition

Built my second computer bout 3 years ago and since then have built another 3. Would never buy a prebuilt system again. I also took my laptop to pieces, I mean to pieces not just removing the back panels and built it back up (it still works btw) does that count? lol

I built my own PC about 2 years ago now, and it has slowly evolved from an AMD Athlon XP (T'Bred A) 1700+, MSI K7N2G-ILSR, Gainward GeForce 4 Ti-4200 Silver, 512Mb PC2700 Ebuyer Extra Value RAM, 30Gb 'Low Profile" Maxtor DiamondMax 8, Artec 16x DVD-ROM to the my current PC specs... So in escence I have a whole new PC now but it still smells and feels like the same old PC

My current machine is an off the rack Compaq job with a 7800GT, Tagan PSU, and another 512MB RAM added. The previous one started out in life as an Advent Celeron 333 and ended it's life as an Athlon XP1800 with only the case left of the original machine, not sure if that counts as built or not. Previous machine (P100) was a total scratch build.

I built a little server for the middle room, shares out 500gb over the flat, sitting room/laptop/bedroom etc. Easy build, just wish I had screwed the hard drives down . . . they are making this odd rattling noise now . . . . . .
