look. Metallica have dopne the same thing for 20 years. Exactly the same thing. Album after album. The second they try and do somethign slighty marginaly different, it sucks. Anyone listend to st.anger ? Proof that hair metal is dead and buried. Confined to a museum exebition in switzerland.

I dont need to mention plus points for radiohead, coz this argument is won by naming the bad points of metallica. The many bad points of Metallica. They arent relevant in the music industry. They havent been for 10 years.

I've got st anger, its not hair metal, its an attempt at nu metal that they've released a year too late tbh.

If what metallica did was crap would they have been selling records for 20 years??

No they'd have gone the same way as so many other bands and slipped into obscurity.

I think they will be remembered, maybe not as much as queen or nirvana, but i doubt they'll be forgotten.

I like both bands but metallica will always be my favourite and imo the better band. Nothing anyone says can change my opinion so you're just gonna have to live with it as this argument is becoming more and more pointless by the second.

I'm a musician. I think they can be compared easily. Both bands have been going for ages, started as rock bands, and I like to compare how their music progressed.
