plus what sort of thing did u ahve? (special, recorded, first, etc?)

thats pretty crazy man, i got over 10 quid oof royal mail before for a special parcel i sent, it was posted on about the 10th, and the arrive date the postal lady put on it was the 10th (not the 11th) but anyway, there was a strike so everything got delayed a day, so i posted on the 10th, should have arrived on the 11th, but got there one the 12th

so i complained, and sent off my slip, guy didnt notice the date it was stamped on, and sent me 2 days worth of compensation ( 5 quid X 2) plus my money back so i got about 13/4 in all cos it was 1 day late due to a strike was fast delivery as well i was quite amazed

Got £227 from them when the broke an item I sent as Special Delivery.... They tried to get out of it but they screwed up their inverstigation by waiting so long to send someone to inspect the damage (2 -3 weeks) so they guy had thrown the damaged packaging out.

Few calls later and me almost losing the head I received a cheque.

we got a guy coming in the office to check out a player a colleague had sent, the box was perfect, the mechanicals inside rendered useless.

will have to wait and see what happens....

Recently got a cheque for £20 from them for a parcel I sent first class going missing. The embarassing thing is, a week later my door goes and there's the postie with the parcel which had an "address unknown" sticker on it Turned out I had written the address correctly, but the person who gave me it gave me the wrong one (in her defence it wasn't her usual address, she was staying at her brothers for a while)

Platinum, did you do a claim on the on-line claim form? If so, phone the lost/damaged mail department as I did an on-line one and never heard a thing back after 3 weeks. Had the cheque in my hands within the week after phoning
