lol nice one guys, sound like loads of you have gone for the low maintainence option. Tbh, if i could get away aith shaving my head without looking like a raging lesbian, i would, but i think my mum would slaughter me if i got my hair cut shorter than my shoulders. Plus it's quite fun to experiment with different styles n stuff.

Nah - I'm going back to my old style which is very similar to jonathan creek but imagine that less wild and with mousse on, as I'm sick of short hair now.... so wait about 6 months and I'll have my long hair again as it grows that quick

Also go for the shaved head. Easy to loof after so it suits me because I'm lazy

Went for the shaved head when I got so bald that my old hairstyle (pretty much a short back and sides) started to look silly. No2 all over now, I do it myself every few weeks.

TBH I don't look too bad, I'd rather have hair but the low maintenance is a big bonus.

I used to have sectioned twisted-spikes with DIY colours . . . that got a bit tedious so I just went with normal whack on gel-spikes, went through a stage of not having black hair for a few years . . . but as you get older, your scalp kinda says "NO MORE!" and you realise how much hair you've lost.

Now I basically get up, ruffle it a bit and go

Heh Elmo, those dreads look wicked!! If I had long hair and didnt have a job where Im 'supposed' to be respected then I'd love to have something like that done. (Probably wouldnt suit me very much tho!)

My hair is short, kinda flicky-out at the back and layered all on the top. Longest bits are probably about 4-5 inches. Its highlighted blonde with the odd copper streak in it.

Mine is pretty much back to the length as in the Mugshots.....I had it cut short not long after that photo was taken...back in 1997.....had it short and spikey up until 2001 where I got lazy and went for the hippy look again. And Theo I know were you come from with bad hair days I had many but managed to pull through cos I knew I would regret it so much if I got it cut again Hmmm I really should get an upto date photo sorted

I've got shoulder blade length mousy brown hair (ick) which is usually dyed red. I tried a brown with highlights thingy before and that looked really good. I have had my hair purple and braided before, which looked ultra funky.

Otherwise my usual is "as long as it'll go in a ponytail" with the odd layer.

Well, for a while there I was sporting a Tom Cruise MI:2 cut - long hair, but trimmed at front:

Since then it's gotten longer as I've been growing it out. As a matter of fact, I've been wondering what to do with it. I like it long, but don't like it just hanging there. I like some style or purpose to the stuff! Been looking more like this recently:

    ...kind of.

Will get a recent pic up soon. If you have any suggestions I'll take recommendations!

    Make me over!

    Ahem.

Stick layers in the back and get yourself a sweeping fringe.

Anyone with any style would agree with me!
