Well, just checked their terms and conditions. They suck, but there you go. Keep your receipts, as Scupa says, or better still, stop using PayPal and then they'll go out of business.

In the meantime 5cupa, if parcels2go are able to sort you out a proof of delivery, you'll get your money back, and it'll cost them. Hassle for you, but ultimately that'll be £100 that ebay shareholders won't be getting in their dividend this year.

    Ouch...this scares me now!

I sold my Shuttle to a guy called the Scientist here, and luckily for me he's a pretty heavy trader over @ users.hexus.net - so I shouldn't have to worry about being scammed £430 odd! And the other sale I made recently were 2 items to Bartop, another nice guy so I shouldn't fret...but I have the stubs for the shuttle & soundcard I shipped...I hope I last :|

i'll let u know how it turns out.

the thing is people ask me and i ask them to send to my work etc and if u do that then paypal wont cover you at all obviously. i also hear that if they cant get the money back from the fraudster or fraudsters bank that its tough luck and u get no refund

    Close paypal account.
If they take any moeny from your credit card complain to your providers thats its unautorised charges and the bank will come down like a ton of bricks on them (hopefully). I would love to do that and get the banks to withdrawn paypals permission to use their credit cards...then how screwed would they be? ha!

    Nochex is just as bad.

Ill only be using bank transfer for now. Its the safest way as to make a transfer the person needs either the online banking info, which would be much harder than just taking someones card, OR to go into the bank, Im sure any fruadsters would get caught like that

as i said (assuming its a deal you dont trust fully ie ebay low rating)

you pay via paypal - that way you can reclaim the money in the event you dont get any goods or have any problems (ideally you would use a credit card and not debit for more security)

and you use nochex to recieve payments - as they can NOT be reclaimed, once the money is in your nochex account it is there forever, hence the reason why you dont pay for items with nochex

Paypal never returned my verification transaction, which they said they will. Absolute w******. As for ebay - they owe me 1.71 - and i ain't selling with them until they return it.

Makes you mad how they can just rape everyone without any responsibility

Should everyone who had problems with them both email watchdog to get on their arse again.

I probably need to empty my paypal account, so that they don't steal my money.
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.

I thought that you were going to be able to prove that you made the delivery and hence kept your end of the bargain?

Take them to the small claims court.

That is just beyond a joke.

Seriously beyond comprehension how a company can totally and utterly screw someone over like that and get away with it.

What are the plans aside from burning down PayPal europe?

5cupa, go to trading standards immediately.
    Dont waste any time.
Im assuming you had the money in your account ? - if they have taken it from your card, goto the bank immediately too.
