Blake's 7 - what a great series - never quite got the traction it deserved, perhaps eclipsed by Dr Who, which was a shame, but I guess the theme itself meant that perhaps it was self-limiting. But it was a 'must watch' for me.

"Do you mind if I smoke ?" apparently was the end of her acting career !!!!!! It ruined her for future work Very sad, very talented.

More sad news. Nice guy, too. It's only a year or so back that he did several impromptu performances for patients at a cancer hospice, while visiting a young friend of his. Chas and Dave even did a gig at that young friend's wedding reception, in the hospice. They haven't done much live work recently, amidst rumours that Dave wasn't well and didn't feel up to it, but they did that unofficial gig at the hospice. Sadly, the young friend died a couple of months later. But Chas was a good friend to him ... and the hospice.
RIP, Chas. Both you and your music will be missed, and the world is a poorer place for your passing.
