i would most certainly buy one... but i really doubt you will find one

i have a very long drawn out i-tech story, which looks like reaching conclusion in the next few days.. if it concludes i will write up a what happened post.. but the short story is they dont, and wont have stock for some time..but the staff are told to tell you that your order will be shipped.... ask for a refund, be prepared to wait 1/2 hour for someone to answer the phone....

i was told that someone had sourced them and had them in their hand, expect to recieve soon

their delivery this week was damaged but next weeks will be fine

    and various other things

still its a better story than the amazon used and new section seller over the same game

    taken from their homepage...

World Of Warcraft, the new game from Blizzard is selling like hotcakes. We are one of the few places left in the UK to have this product and we are pleased to say we have high-stock levels

They have this also on the product page. I am thinking of going there and slapping them with a large fish. Repeatedly. Where it hurts.

i hate those people if they havent lied to us that they had everything in stock we would have started looking 10 days earlier and might have found something.

just bought a copy of wow of ebay for 60 pounds so i wont need a copy any more the guy has 100% positive feedback with over 100 so should get it soon hopefully.

I gave up on waiting to find a cheap copy well at least that beats 80 that some people are selling at.

    Sent another letter to itech:

"You make me wait over 2 weeks and then delete my account and my order for communicating with other customers about your scam= fine, i dont care anymore. I want a refund of the money you took from me. I want that money back or my bank will be taking boot to your ass.

    Your's sincerely

we should really do something about them im afraid to imagine how many people they screwed up with the screwed up being unable to post bad reviews since they get deleted straight away. Anything we can do ? like make the licensing body take away the ability to do c card transactions on the site or something so they cant dupe more people? Can anybody write to some gaming magazine that actually cares to investigate / help bring smackdown on em? Some kind of consumer watchdog mabe? anybody know any

wait till my refund goes through first please

oh i was also told by a member of staff that they are told to say copies will be arriving in even when they arent. I was told by the person "i am meant to tell you it will be with you tomorrow but the truth is we dont have them in stock and no idea when more will come"

    great company eh

So they are in the same boat as everyone else then and there is no way they will get any before other retailers? I guess i should just cancel it and wait for next release.

Cancel it, nowhere will have stock because Blizzard simply aren't shipping any more copies, you're looking at a 2 week wait minimum.

Was thinking of sending a mail saying "show me a photo of a member of staff with todays newspaper standing next to a pile of wrapped WOW copies or i cancel it".

Am gonna cancel. I definately am not waiting for the general re-release to get it off i-tech.

I think all of us should report them to watchdog, ferret and whoever else we can find. I think this is a blatant lie and therefore is in breach of all sorts of regulations. Maybe get refunds in first (do let me know when the money is back) and report them afterwards.

Also, how did you cancel it? I am annoyed because i cannot get any response out of them, email or phone. Don't want to send a cancellation email only for them to send me the game in 6 weeks saying that they didn't get it.

Every tim i get them to answer the phone it is because i leave it ringing until someone answers.... has taken me 1/2 hour of continual attempts to get through before.. unfortunately persistance is the only way forward. According to their website a refund was issued to me on the 21st... still not showing in my account just yet but i will give it a couple of days

I havent been able to get them to pick up the phone at all. The only contact I get from them is the odd fortnightly email.

I have sent them an nice email asking them to cancel my order.. dunno if they'll take any notice of it though :/
    Sig here?

seriously..you have to ring all the time.

if they hang up, ring back immediatley and keep going till theyanswer...it takes ages sometimes.

i have spoken to them a few times.
