I'm only here at all because my mother mis-carried twins. It's probably too soon to tell your friend this, but even the worst cloud can have a silver lining.
At least, from my end of the telescope it's silver: the twins might see it differently.

Joel Schumacher has died aged 80 after a year long battle with cancer. Absolutely amazing director with movies such as Falling Down and The Lost Boys amongst many others over his career :

Ennio Morricone has passed away at the age of 91. This is truly sad news. He has written some of the most beautiful music imaginable. "Gabriel's Oboe" for instance. His music has truly been angelic. Now he will be counted among them. May he rest in peace.

Surprised no one mentioned Charlie Daniels the country hall of fame singer best know for The Devil went down to Georgia. He passed away a few days ago at the age of 83 but it hasn't said cause so could just be natural old age :
