I loved those times before mobile phones, i think every kid has a mobile phone nowadays? We would leave home in the morning and could play all day, as long as we were back before it got dark. No one was able to reach us and no one minded.

And dare I mention - RentaGhost, Button Moon, and SuperTed to keep the nostalgia flowing? Still makes me chuckle. Spotty Man could take down all the TellyTubbies with one hand whilst simultaneously lecturing those stupid Hoobs in the importance of worthwhile childrens programming.
Unfortunately, my generation now all grown up, still hasn't corrected a serious mistake and introduced The Chuckle Brothers to a shotgun.

"Reality is what it is, not what you want it to be." Frank Zappa. ----------- "The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike." Huang Po.----------- "A drowsy line of wasted time bathes my open mind", - Ride.
Just relieved some glorious memories (i'm an '81 born), and remembered that I recently purchased the animated Dungeons and Dragons cartoon DVD box set Plus somewhere i have original Danger Mouse videos, and one containing The Frog Song. No, im not talking about the exhibitionist bike rider that infests the adverts, i'm talking about the original classic!
*hums quietly "Bom bombom wai-yah! Bom bombom wai-yah!*
On your 'to do' list
Ahh Rupert the bear, some frogs and Paul McCartney, what a bizarre yet successful combination.
Would love to get some of the early episodes and compare them with the 3 other versions (Gatchaman - the original, Battle Of The Planets - the first "editted version", G-Force - the second remix ... and the fourth which i've forgotten the name of!)Originally Posted by iranu
