LOL - and some of us relish the opportunity to shave a few quid off the price of new toys. Believe me - especially with small orders, it makes all of the difference. But then again, I could just be cheap

After all, Scan has a certain level of brand recognition - this only helps to enhance it. I religiously check out Today Only deals, there's another couple of quid there - just on a couple of orders it adds up to the latest game, or a replacement DVD burner, or another stick of RAM.

... right now I'm dreading turning into one of those people at the sales...
I saved £10 on delivery - it was such good value I bought a new processor, mobo, 2gb ram, psu - and saved myself £60! (even though I had to spend £700 to get it!)

Been using Scan for awhile now, although the delivery charge has put me off 'small' orders. However this offer is the icing on the cake! Great news!

The techies will get this all sorted as soon as possible, but remember to contact the sales team if you need something sooner .. and they'll look after you.

The reason this offer is so popular is that scan do not have a cheap delivery method for 'small' orders. I guess that is there business model and it sort of works cos if I do order from them I make sure it is for enough bits to make the delivery charge worthwhile - however there are probably several hundred quids worth of 'today only' stuff that I might of bought on a whim if it wasn't for the 7 quid (pls vat?) min delivery charge.
I guess that is the scan business model but it costs them sales - hopefully they realise this and have taken the decision that it is not worth taking 30 quid from me and shipping whatever it is by royal mail, rather than that they haven't realised that they are loosing sales to ebuyer etc

    Great !!

Bought all my major new system builds from scan, and looking at a sff caser like a shuttle at the moment but usually the P&P makes scan too expensive; an less its the whole system you are buying.
Maybe I will get it from scan, when this gonna be in effect then, the question everyone wants to know the answer too

There was a request to be sensible and to try and keep the orders to say above £20. And I believe the offer may stay open for a long time if it doesn't get abused. But we need to use it responsibly. I will still try to group my orders into more sizeable chunks.

Just placed an order with Scan under the new arrangements! Excellent service! Odd placing the order over the phone rather than on the web site though! No doubt the web site will be modified soon!
