Will AMD drop using the name ATI

I read that AMD will stop using the ATI name anyone know if its true?
I havent seen it on Hexus so it makes me wonder....

It would give AMD a higher placement portfolio .. and imagine the irony if they still supply intel chipsets later on...

If you read it on the Inq, I'd disregard it. The Inq was doing an opinion piece masquerading as reportage, and a later article disagrees anyway, and with slightly better authority. ATI's a valuable brand, and one that has a good rep even with people that don't trust AMD's CPUs (yes, mad people buy hardware too...).
