I myself am a very health a fitness person, i managed to lose 3-4 stone in about 5 months 'cause i used to be a fat little bugger. The way to do it is chuck yourself into some fitness which you find does not require much effort. Walking to work/education placement is something you could do upon a day to day basis. Also fidgeting, i know it sounds odd but it burns calories. Excersise in the monrning since this is when you will burn most fat.

Food wise i can't advise you for since everyone is against my methods but you'll want to have 5 small meals a day since your body craves between main meals and stores fat. Eat all your carbs before lunch and keep low on the fat.

If you want to do it the excersise way then get your ass down to a gym and say to yourself that you'd be much happier sitting at home on the computer if you burn say a thousand calories just to start lightly.

Those are a few small ideas but i could go into much depth but i'll save you the torment of the gory details

it aint rocket science.. its biology.

Weight is a function of calories...

What you eat and dont burn off with excercise turns into fat.

Solution.. eat less crap food and excercise more.. and feel good about yerself whatever cos wieght is NOT what its all about

and remember muscles weighs a lot more than fat so don't be alarmed if it goes up when you start going to the gym..

Oh and if you starve yourself you force your body to conserve energy which it lays down as fat. eat healthy food little and often, and take regular exercise, that will speed up your metabolism and burn the fat off

edit - goto a hard dance club / techno / hard house and i guarantee with all the dancing like your having an epileptic fit you'll be doing, you'll come out 2 pounds lighter (i know i do anyway ! )

Combine that with what I call... "The pill fast plan" That is, a pill for breackfast, one for lunch and then a proper dinner.

flippant I know but in actual fact it works, I was getting so twatted 18 months ago that i did actually lose a load of weight in this way, who would ever have thought that going out and partying could make ya thinner?

needless to say, medical experts probably wouldnt reccomend it...

whether its healthy or not it works for me

i used to be fat (i mean 13 stone in year 11) i had a belly and used to eat quite a bit, and id had enuff i thought, how can i lose weight? fast? so i quite simply didnt eat

for about a week i just drank water and had the occasional small snack ( a sweet or something) to get rid of those stomach pains, bit david blainey but it worked, and i lost half a stone that week

then, i wasnt used to eatin and i slowly ate less and less - i was eating again but not as much and ive been like it ever since, now im in year 13, 2 years older so obviously i would have grown and become heavier but now im 10 stone - if i was still fat id be 15ish and its just from cutting out food i didnt need, like eating before i went to bed, or having a snack for the hell of it

i still occasionally just dont eat for days, which probably as i said not healthy but im used to it now and i can do it, i went for 5 days with no food whatsoever just water not so long ago.

im not advising it, but it worked for me , even if i was a bit sick

Nope, calories aren't really that important in weight loss. You can eat foods with as many calories in them as you want and you won't get fat. Fat is fat, that's what you want to get rid of.

Join a gym and go for about an hour 5 times a week - and really push yourself when you're there. It may not look so nice being a sweaty red-faced heavy-breathing thing, but they're the ones who come out looking and feeling best.

actually no. The ones looking and feeling best are running or cycling on the street outside, in the fresh air, wallets filled with the gym membership and parking fees (People drive to the gym?!?) they would otherwise have paid for.

    Fat is stored calories.

if youre still taking in more calories than youre burning off, more is gonna get stored for later usage in the form of fat... so you're gonna find it harder to lose weight

Burn 2 units of fat off.. put 3 units of fat on.. and so on
