Well I aint no lightweight, but i've given up on diets. I couldnt giv a stuff what people think I look like, I eat sensibly, exercise when I can be arsed & work allows. I enjoy my life without the burden of concerning myself with what others think.
Care what u look like by all means, but in the great scheme of things it means nothing. It is easier for a bloke I grant you, but the people who really matter like you for you, not what u think you look like to them.
Well minor rant over, i'm off to my bed.....but not before a teensy nightcap.

    Fat sucks!

I'd think I'd rather lose weight naturally and have to work out to keep mass. And then of course it forms first around the most difficult to work out parts of the body! What's that about? Why can't it just appear on the arms or something?

Trying to slim the stomach is just a bloomin pain.

And then of crouse there's the fact that running/cycling down straight, level, urban streets is boring. Put me in the jungle or something and I'll keep myself as fit as you like. Even just give me my own military assault course or climbing wall in the back yard - I'll be in bliss.

But running down the street sucking fumes?

I'm going to go and cry now....

    It's the air pollution...

    honest.

    Re: losing weight

Try the Mediterranean diet, fruit, lean meat, oily fish, an occasional glass of wine. Walk ten minutes a day out and ten minutes back. That's it.You'll be losing weight in a couple of weeks

    Re: losing weight

Try walking. Ten minutes brisk walking there, ten minutes back. You've done a mile and it feels like nothing much. Do it every day and you'll lose weight. Cut down on the calories as well though.
