Sorry to dredge up an old thread but a mate is after the same thing, changing the XP theme. Problem is iv got a memory like a sive(sp?) and cant remember for the life of me how i did it. Iv tried the link above but it doesnt seem to link to anything in particular.

When you have patched your UXTheme you should have a look for stuff by KoL at StudioTwentyEight and at Customize.org's "StyleXP" Skin section (particularly the XPMC skin). And for backgrounds I'd recommend this place: http://art.softshape.com
