i think this celeb big brother has been disappointing, i liked jade but after seeing her in action i don't think i like her anymore. I think they are picking on Shilpa because she is good looking, smart, female and from a different background. jo has surprised me Sclub 7!£?, god people are really different behind closed doors.

This is a classic case of natural human behaviour being thrust into peoples homes and therefore spotlight.

I was interested to see a program about biosphere or biolab - can't remember the exact name but it was an experiment in self sufficiency where 8 people tried to live in a self contained unit. They had more problems coping with each other than they did with the environment and it's challenges. Apparantly these people were all friends aswell as colleagues with a singular interest in making the whole experiment work.

They came out hating one another and several cliques had formed to the point where pettiness and obsfucation was an everyday occurence.

The same thing is happening in the BB house. Jade, Jo and the other thick one are banding together and are infact using Shilpa as their bonding medium/mechanism. It's simply bitchy women forming their clique. Other than being ill educated, ignorant wannabees they have little else in common and are therefore picking on the most obvious/most different member. And by that I don't necessarily mean different colour. You have to remember that Jade et al would probably pick on and take the mickey out of a "posh" white girl's accent/clothes/manner etc etc - it's what gives them their reason to be together and form their group. This type of behaviour goes on all the time although mainly in the playground.

They aren't going after the Cleo cos she wouldn't lie down and take it or would rise above it.

It's simple bullying. If you removed Jade the likelyhood is it wouldn't happen. Safety in numbers?

Everyone in the world is prejudiced to some degree, usually through their own fear and ignorance and to a large extent due to the human-being being a social animal. The 3 protagonists are showing their prejudice but I don't think they are being racist.

God and to think I don't even watch the damn thing, must stop reading about it too.

Just what we need, this Government taking more choices away from us. I, for one, have had enough of this Government telling me what I can/can't do. Although I hate BB, the fact that 3 people have an argument can cause effigy burning protests and questions to the PM jnr shows how wrong the media have their prioritys.

really? the last BigBrother i watched was where they had put an openly homophobic fella, in with an outwardly openly homosexual chap and stood back as the fireworks went off, i would be more of the opinion that thats what big brother goes for to increase ratings.

I was actually joking, although having celebrity and all the absolute rubbish reality TV stuff taken off TV would mean that people would actually have to make decent TV programs, rather than "oh I know let's put some people in a ridiculous situation and watch what happens".

My point was that programs like BB are inevitably going to cause hassle like this as they want to cause as much press and attention as possible and force people to get to the extremes of their emotions just for a show.

Much to the amazement of my colleagues and friends I have to admit that this is abou the only programme I watch (and Simpsons).

Since this fuss developed I have stopped watching. However my opinion is that this is borderline racism. Some comments sound racist like.....

I thought Jackiey was racist through her attitude and what she said. At present I dont think Jade is showing any racism. She must be the most obnoxious person that has appeared on that show.

I suspect that Jade and Danielle are starting to realise the effect this is having on their 'careers' as C-listers. When in doubt, play the 'I'm so thick' card to get the support of all the other thickies watching the show.

In theory this SHOULD be the end of Jade Goody's 'career' which would be a great thing, however I suspect a LOT of magazines like MORE, FRESH and NOW, as well as 'celebrity' gossip tripe rags will be running:

"I didn't even know what a racist thingy was!"

I detest that woman, always have, and the public gave her everything. Well my Mom always told me the way to be successful was to apply to the lowest denominator, thus you're assured of success due to sheer numbers.

The worst thing is these images/videos are being beamed around the world, and people are presuming she represents Britain. Thank you Jade Goody.
