Looking at getting one of these. Would like to know if it is worth going for the 1Gb over the 512mb? May be upgrading to a 22" monitor at some point in the near future.

for 22", it's probably not worth it getting the extra 1GB tbh..
that is, if my assumption is correct that the monitor will be 1680 x 1050 resolution.
you only really notice the extra graphics memory when gaming @ 1920 x 1200+ resolution

Depends on how big the price difference is if it will cost you an extra £5 I would probably get it if its an extra £25 then I probably wouldn't bother for a 1680*1050 monitor.

512Mb is almost always enough... if you've got money to spare, I'd go up to a 4870 instead.
