Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

So,now the GTX670TI is 5% slower than an HD7970 and a GTX670TI flashed with a GTX680 BIOS is 40% faster than an HD7970.
So my new improved list about the full fat GK104:
1.)40% Faster than an HD7970
2.)Was 10% before but all of a sudden gained another 30%
3.)3DMark11 score 15% higher than HD7970
4,)Skimmed GK104 has 3DMark11 score 5% lower than HD7970
5.)Consumes less power than an HD7970
6.)Has a smaller die
7.)Has 2GB or 4GB of VRAM
8.)Can use system RAM
9.)Shorter PCB than a GTX570
10.)Is only $299
11.)Has backlit GEFORCE GTX logo on the top of the card
12.)Is the PhysX MASTER
Phage (10-03-2012)
I read the posts again. When the GTX670TI is flashed with what I should refer to as the Magic BIOS,it is all of a sudden 40% faster than a HD7970,supposedly!
So my new and improved GK104 list is as follows:
1.)Semi-skimmed GTX670TI was 5% slower than HD7970
2.)Magic BIOS flash gives 40% faster speed than HD7970 for GTX670TI
3.)GTX680 was 10% faster than HD7970
4.)Speed of GTX680 with Magic BIOS unknown
5.)3DMark11 score 15% higher than HD7970
4,)Semi-skimmed GK104 has 3DMark11 score 5% lower than HD7970
5.)Consumes less power than an HD7970 and is a 195W card
6.)Has a smaller die
7.)Has 2GB or 4GB of VRAM
8.)Can use system RAM
9.)Shorter PCB than a GTX570
10.)Is only $299
11.)Has backlit GEFORCE GTX logo on the top of the card
12.)Is the PhysX MASTER
13.)Has single card surround
14.)Is the UE4 MASTER
15.)Has the same memory bandwidth as the GTX580
16.)Does some other stuff that I might go WTF at
It will be interesting to see how much of this SA article will end up true:
http://semiaccurate.com/2012/02/01/p...lergk104-fast/
Some more details about the specific clockspeeds:

No mention of the Magic BIOS though.

Cat - I've merged a number of your posts together - the info you've just posted was merged into the post above....

I wonder if this means the large Kepler GPU is not as delayed as people think. The chap in the posts is the chief chap at Hardware Canucks.
Edit!!
It does not seem he is mentioning the GK110.

It seems the card has a Vapor chamber:

17.)Uses a Vapor chamber
18.)Uses an HT like technology
19.)Uses a Turbo Boost like technology
20.)There is no GTX670 but only a GTX680 as the former was a smokescreen
21.)Most of the rumours are not true at all
22.)The card launches today
23.)Availability will be poor at launch
That is all the rumours I can find ATM.
Does great big leaping GPU power bumps really matter any more in an age when all games are designed for cheap boxes designed 7 years ago?
It seems the only real benefactor of modern GPUs is scientific computing.
and hopefully 3D rendering other tasks around GPU rendering. I'm still waiting for Newtek to implement GPU rendering for their VPR - realtime virtual preview renderer in Lightwave.
Do you reckon these cards will be revealed sometime this week? or next week?
Yes.
The GK104 is now meant to be even tinier:

Pricing for any of these? Well supposed RRP.
