x800xtpe question

Just ordered one to go in my new Athlon 64 Shuttle, hopefully I'll get one from the batch tomorrow.

Whats the fan noise like on these?, I've got a 6800GT at the moment and that gets fairly noisey in 3D mode.

Little update, I missed yesterdays delivery so organised a delivery date for Friday as thats the only day I could get some time off work. Vaul just run a quick bench for us mate, having 512MB Crucial RAM will suffice for 3DMARK and I just want to see how it performs at default and with AA/AF. PLLLEEAASSSEEEEE........?

Thank you for your response. We are still awaiting delivery of the 6063 graphics cards but these are due sometime today. We should have enough cards to fulfil both back orders and new orders placed.

lookin good dont think they will get them today as i believe there delivery days are fridays but they have been giving the 12th as a date for over three weeks so far and fufilled some of the backorders on monday (del wednesday) so who knows this time next week we could be looking at some uberframerates.

And the reason i believe they will have them is because they are an evesham retailer. who put these cards in there machines so will be getting some of the first shipments. b4 the normal single component retailers.

but i still want to know how this card performs and overclocks (cough) VAUL (cough)

Nope, no good news here either. Like you guys I've had a couple of emails insisting the 12th! (and the bit about plenty of stock for all backorders, etc)

Btw, did anyone else have a LONG delay geting their card approved? It took about 1 day and a half and I know there are no problems with my card. Their reply to this was some card issuers take between 1 and 72 hours to approve the cards!!!! (VERY odd)

OK ladies I have my card now. Running at same system settings (11x223 as the 6800GT (which was at 415/1140) I got a 400 point increase in 3DMARK'03 and a whopping, fricken amazing 2'000 point increase in 3DMARK2001. 2'000 points! I'll make a thread later for X800XT PE results for all those who have reveived or are about to receive their card then we can have a collective benchie thread. Hell who knows... maybe Vaul will... shock horror... post some results?

Nope haven't heard anything either, will email them tomorrow if it isn't shipped today.

I did notice the X800 Pro VIVO's are back in stock on the site so they had something arrive today.
