Now he's trying to get me to sell mine for profit, and then I'd have to find another.

    He's a ATi pimp, I tells ya!

lol not just an ATI pimp, I do it with all the hard to gte hardware I can. I went through a phase of buying all the BH-5 I could afford from people on Ebay who were selling it and didn't realize its value. On one occasion I sold 1.5GB of Mushkin BH-5 to a guy in Belgium for £460, then a few months later sold another 1GB of Corsair BH-5 for £350. Theres a killing to be made in buying and selling computer parts I tells ya. Only thing that stops me making a mint is I cant afford to buy things in bulk, like the ATI X800XT's. Mind you after I told me dad about it all and he saw me take the cash off that guy last night he said if I see a good oppurtunity he may lend me the cash. So im on the scout for some X800XT's bigtime.

Which model did you get? PCWORLD component centre is selling the BFG 6800GT OC for £265! Think im gonna order one and see how good it OC's then sell my PNY 6800GT (that maxes out at 410/1100) on Egay, should get about £300-ish for it seeing as stock is pretty scarce now.

Jesus i've just worked it out and ive realised my last few upgrades (3400+, 6800GT etc) have been essentially free due to various wheelings and dealings. If I can keep it up ill be able to upgrade whenever the heck I like.

I went for the Aopen one (only one in stock at PCWorld) ... still a reasonable price:

Reviews fairly well on here too :-)

Hmm yeah it doesnt look bad at all mate, only a tenner more than the BFG. I've seen people getting 230Mhz+ core on the BFG though, thats whats tempting me to order that and wait a week. Knowing my luck i'll get it and it will struggle to 390/1100 and then i'll be right up the ****ter.

Hello Chaps. As much As I hate to end your business rich dog and I hate Overclockers but they will be receiving X800 OEM XT in stock on Monday tuesday. Expensive price ( 380ish ) but if you want ATI then u pay it ! Look at the overclockers forums for more. Seems theyve gotten hold of a supplier somehow. Maybe they brought them from evesham hehe !

I don't reckon it'll be ending my bit of business at all, i've just bought 3x X800XT PE's from lowestonweb for the pant-wetting sum of £956.99 (My hand shook as I pressed the "Buy" putton, lol.), they said they had enough to fulfill my order... just. People on Ebay are ignorant as a whole, and I will use the same advert as I used to sell the last one. Also remember that even though some stores are getting them in, there will be nowhere enough cards to satisfy demand for a while yet. And when you factor in people who live internationally and can't get hold of them, you're guaranteed a sale. At the very least i'll make £150 on them, but more likely I will make £300. People will pay £400 per card no problem, and I had offers up to £450.

Are you sure about that - why would it be called a X800 XT ?
