"(except for a very minor backlight bleed in the top right corner)"
Thats the same as mine! It must be a Dell trade mark!

there is one guy on ebay selling them - £489 inc. vat and delivery
Tempting!
I myself, wouldn't trust ebay for a LCD. I like the (if slightly misguided) thought that dell will supply me with good service. 70 quid extra for a guaranteed to work dell monitor is worth it imo.
I called Dell and quoted the price of £566. They offered it for £570 inc VAt and Del.
Deal done. Monitor on the way.

damn u guys have money to burn! I'm sticking with my 17" LG for now. But wouldn't two 19" @ 15ms TFT's be better value for money than DELL's beast?
http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.ph...ic=246836&st=0 lots of nice pictures there
and there's me only just affording a 17" tft...
Can't wait to earn some proper money!
I bought one Had this in mind for a few weeks so said sod it and just ordered it comes next week
Ive just come across these, and was wondering if you guys who bought them were still impressed?
Most certainly. The girth is impressive it's physically wider than my crt so it's a step up for watching movies, and the resolution is great for windows work.
I've only been living with it since friday, but i'm very happy so far.
hmmm very tempted to buy one.....
I would have to get shot of my Iiyama though
Good to hear
I will most definately get one of these
Reading this thread on my 21" p1500 CRT, 1280*1024, 85hz, and my eyes fkn hurt!!
Cant wait for my viewsonic VX912 !!! (been waiting two months!) For me, that will be like what the dell is to you!
Just ordered one of these in the USA - 620 dollars including tax and free delivery... read and weep back in the UK, that's 322 quid in real money! Since I'm planning to return to Europe in the summer, thought I'd better take the plunge now and take advantage of the great deals while the dollar is weak. Now to try and justify the thing to my wife!
£322 nice one
