It's the sound bar, it's removable and it's an optional extra purchase.

But why are Dell so eager to get rid of these?

At that price it seems a little too good to be true.

    I didn't realise that

But I just ended up ordering one!

For the price it seems an amazing deal.

Great monitor, Im very jelous of you being able to play HL2 in widescreen.

I really think games should have an option to play them in widescreen in letterbox mode for people without widescreen displays- I would definately do this. I cant afford a widescreen TFT but I really want to play HL2 in widescreen!

I went for the widescreen model as I will be watching DVD's through it as well. Im going to use it for my Gamecube as well, as it has composite input as well

    Unhappy Errrrrrm ... HELP!?

    NUTS!
I ordered the 2001FP (non widescreen one) from Dell last Wednesday. I don't even have the thing yet and discover this pretty hefty discount.

I paid 527.36 all in vs 425.79 (if my company is EPP which I reckon it might be ... thanks MaCCaUK btw!) or 457.31 if that fails. I could save between 70 and over 100 quid!!

I've spent the last hour trying to suss out where I stand with this. It seems the Dell "Total Satisfaction Guarantee" is US only and the only thing close I can spot is in the "Consumer Rights" section of their T&Cs that states I can return the item in original condition within 7 days of receipt (shipping would cost me I guess).

Should I not open the box tomorrow until they agree to give me some money back?

Any Dell UK experts that can help me out?

    Craig

Just TALK to Dell. And moan. I'm sure they'll honour a discount for a firm there size. If your monitor packaging arrives damaged then may*Hammer*be you could send it back as unchecked and get the blah, blah blah.

My 7 days apparently ran out on thursday, but since when did the day you recieved it count as your first day

Auch well, they gave me 10% back, so that's £51.40 I wouldn't have had if I'd just let it go.

Can't shake the feeling that if I'd caught it early enough on friday I'd have been able to get the full discount back...
