Matrox makes some good cards, but they are far too niche to compete with ATI, NVIDIA, or Intel. Matorx has no crap cards for the masses and no good gaming cards.

Personally I want to see PowerVR make a comeback, I had one of their Kyro IIs when it came out, was pritty good at the time.

Umm, you lost your password to your own web site and have not been able to get to it in 7 years?

Isn't there anyone you can call to get the password. Someone has to be paying for it...

I haven't been online for a while, but I couldn't let some of these go!

Don't doubt it, it's probably true even with the British/Australian currency conversion, but anyway it was you that brought salaries into this debate, and yes it is childish as Iranu hypocritically stated.

As far as being a multi millionaire, regardless of whether I am or not doesn't mean I needless throw my money away. How do you think a lot of millionaires got that way? It wasn't by updating their video card every year.

Anyway, if you guys think a video card is worth paying that much, throw your money away, I couldn't care less.

Companies will always charge as much as they can, and the less competition there is the more they charge. It's competition that drives the price down, and that means more than two major competitors. (And I don't mean onboard or specialist graphics either)

If you guys don't understand how basic market forces work then you may be happier if you moved to a socialist or communist country where you don't have to think or question and everything is regimented.
