Quite a few dropped at SCAN this week, managed to snag a 3070FE and others I know got 3090/3080FE
How does one buy a 3070FE from Scan? They aren't listed anywhere as far as I can see and despite being registered Scan never notified me about any stock end of Feb?

I would recommend getting yourself on at least a couple of the stock checking discords. At the very least PartAlert is good but I also used UK Stock Alert. Which one alerted first varied which is why its good to be on more than one.
When you get the alert for what you want you do have to be quick though. Initially they sell out in a couple mins at best but its a good idea to refresh for 10-15mins as scan cancel orders from people who have already purchased a 30series card from them using the same name/address/IP and those that are cancelled come back available. That was how I got my FE around 5mins after the alert. Still have to be lucky though unfortunately.
rumour is that Nvidia will discontinue the FE cards due to shortages
Well if that is the case then I'll use the funds I had set aside for a CPU and motherboard then and stick with my 3060Ti..

Managed to grab a 3090 rtx FE on friday and delivered on saturday thanks to scan uk. i got lucky grabbing one.
Still shocked how rare these gpu's are alost 6months after it was released/announced.
Yeah, they're rarer than gold dust at the moment, congratulations on getting one. Hopefully there's another drop of 3070 FEs soon.
I was watching on Friday, the 3090 FE was in stock for almost 5 minutes at SCAN, I need a card for another build but couldn't bring myself to pay £1400 for the 3090... waiting for a restock of the 3080 FE if another one ever comes!

It's been a while since the last 3070/3080 drop, hopefully there's one on Scan this week.
I think there was a RTX 3090 drop last Friday so there is a small chance we will see more 3000 FE series soon
Sods law there will be another drop during the 2 weeks I'm in bloody Saudi again same as the last one
I was ideally looking for the 3080 FE, however I have zero regrets getting the 3090 FE. Sure, the price will make you wince a little bit, but I'm in gaming nirvana with it (and it's sooooo quiet). If you can afford one, don't wait for the 3080.
What about coil whine?
