    News - Fujitsu announces 5.6in Atom-powered netbook

It's super small, feature packed and trendy. But is the LifeBook FMV Biblo U/B50 a netbook or a mobile internet device?

Reminds me of the last of the Sharp Zaurus range. Unfortunately, my wallet isn't that well fed.

We've got our doubts, and a sluggish OS could be the LifeBook's Achilles' heel.
Or that really fragile looking hinge in the middle. That screen really doesn't look stable there.

Yeah, that would concern me, too. The ideal solution (I believe) is to have a "sliding" design like the MDA Vario 3, but I've only seen one tablet design (who's manufacturer/model name I can't remember) can do this.

Re: News - Fujitsu announces 5.6in Atom-powered netbook

So, we're giving Fujitsu the benefit of the doubt and creating a whole new category, we're calling this one a sub-netbook.
please don't. there are enough categories already without you needing to pull a new one out of your....hat....
