    20Mbit broadband from Bulldog?

    Somebody wanting to drop their Bulldog subscription was given some interesting news about their service plans:
    The local loop unbundling (LLU) outfit is currently battling to restore its reputation after a torrent of complaints from customers. But it's also keen to extend its broadband offering, according to a reader who contacted the ISP to cancel his service.

    He told us: "I called yesterday to cancel my nightmare subscription and they tried to convince me to stay by telling me they are about to announce a 20 meg connection in the next couple of weeks."

    Asked to spill the beans on this speed upgrade a spokeswoman for Bulldog refused to comment.

    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Yeh 'Be' are rolling out a trial but it is for Londoners only to begin with.

    I'd hazard a guess that ADSL2+ will be available from most LLU ISPs in time for Xmas.

    I'd stick with blueyonder's 10Mbit cable connection guys. Much cheaper and far better service. What's the point of having a 20Mbit connection from a company that won't allow you to utilise it to its full potential without problems?
