Mrs Fishcake got a phone call earlier on at home today:
Liz: Hello?
Sales person: Hi, I'm calling on behalf of your local Internet Service Provider.
Liz: Before you carry on, can I just tell you that we're registered with the Telephone Preference System?
Sales person: Ok, that's fine. I'm from Bulldog and...
Liz: ...no, we're on the TPS. If we're on that list then you're not allowed to call us!
Sales person: Well, whilst you're on the phone, I may as well tell you about us...
Liz: Can I just ask what company you're from?
Sales person: Bulldog Internet.
Liz: I hope you're aware that if I chose to report you, your company could get fined a huge amount of money?
Sales person: OK, sorry to bother you, goodye!

OK, Liz thougt that they said "bullfrog" at first, but, seeing as I can't find a UK based Bullfrog Internet, I'm assuming it was mis-heard.
Part of me thinks they should spend money improving their customer service, before trying to get new customers, then they may not have got all this bad press recently.
Anyone else had this?
