We write posts, but we write them using correct punctuation, such as capital letters at the start of sentences and an appropriate mark (i.e. question, exclamation, 'period') at the end.

Also, we spell words correctly. 'Write', for instance, not 'right'.

So, your post should read (presuming I've decoded it correctly):

Wow, now that I have fixed that, exactly how do you want it, with lots of paragraphs?

It's harder to read than before, aha ha ha.

Seriously, what do we do here, write a list of points or write a post? :|

its not what you wrote, its how you wrote it, we don't allow slang/shortened/sms style text, its alright for you maybe, but when you are posting here to engage in conversation if half the people can't read it then you see my point surely?

If anyone is interested in what AMD will do to their pricing, then have a look at the web page below.

If anyone is to lazy to go to the page.
Then AMD is to reduce its X2 processors by 25-50%

The Core 2 Extreme clocked at 2.93GHz was able to beat the AMD Athlon FX-62 on average by 15% in our gaming benchmarks.

meh i posted a full price list on the pge before 360bhp , but since u haven't bothered to even read any posts in this thread , i dont no why ur postin here but w/e ill repost price list again for u.

but if ur gnnaa post next time , read atleast the last few pages...

    E6300 (1.86GHz), $183
    E6400 (2.13GHz), $224
    E6600 (2.4GHz), $316
    E6700 (2.67GHz), $530
    E6800 (2.93GHz), $999

    E6600 and E6700 both beat the $1200 amd fx62 , by a fair bit.

In a months time, that fx62 may only be $600.
Have a look at the future pricing for AMD.

    Of course they can retaliate.
I just don't like people (eg Keta) misinforming others.
There have been quite a few presumptious opinions here.
I will reserve judgment when conroe is actually available to the guy on the street.
At the end of the day, I am looking forward to its release because it will mean massive price reductions for us consumers.

That really is the best bit, isn't it? Because, when you think about it, even if Intel beat AMD the other way around, the chips are still pretty damn fast.

Yup, and beyond a certain point the cpu is far less important that the gpu for gaming right now..

    dangel , depends wat games

rad , how am i misinforming people ? im talkin about the prices today , yes when conroe releases amd will drop prices.

5000+ will drop about 40 percent , but E6600 is still cheaper and faster then a fx62

now fx 62 wont drop much , the fx 57 is still an expensive processor and that is old

but it will drop but not much cuse fx 62 , amd will feel that it will fight against conroe XE which is 999 US soo ull seee amd drop prices from 1200 to 999 with there fx 62 , but still i wud rather buy a conroe for 316 dollars that beats a fx62

soo yes amd will drop prices but still they just cant beat intels price performance range , cuse 316 for a processor that beats fx 62??

i mean seriously they will neva drop there fx 62 to 316 from 1200 , but they will drop the 5000 + to about 400 us , but in my books conroe beats fx 62 with such a cheap cpu ,

i wudn't waste my money buying amd just cuse its a brand i like or somethin like that , when conroe is soo damn good and soo cheap

Well to a degree - but in general i don't see anywhere near 100% on current games (half life 2: episode one for example) at 1600x1200 on my system. I'd put money on a X1900XT doing far more for my framerate than an FX lol.

No offense was intended Keta. All I was getting at, was you were comparing todays price of the FX62 with the future price of conroe which isn't even available to the general public yet.
I am not arguing about performance or benchmark results.
I just felt it was an unfair assessment.
I think it is best for everyones sake not to be too judgemental about a future event that has many uncertainties.
