Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Because I have Netflix and a baby to hold, I watched Van Damme's Hard Target.

I don't think it's his worst film, but it's not his best either. There are only so many times I can watch him do a slow motion spin kick it turns out.

4.5 out of 10. Watchable but avoidable.

I recently rewatched Enemy At The Gates.

It is a good film, but it has the most awkward sex scene I think I've seen on film.

I watched Spy at the weekend. I'd already seen it pre-release so knew what was coming. The wife seemed to enjoy it though. Melissa McArthy was her usual sweary self...

I watched The Pacifier yesterday and it was surprisingly alright after my friends said it was boring.

    predator - blu-ray (2008) release

no artifacts or dodgy smoke as most review`s always mention, except for 3 seconds in the top corner, and its the full original VHS version with "stick around" scene

Minions 7/10. Bought it for my son, but had to watch it beforehand to ensure it's suitable. Plus we'll never get to see the whole thing again all in one go. Enjoyable, but just felt like there was something they could have done but didn't/

Speekybo (despicable) me is where its at for the Minions.

Orc Wars 2/5. Utterly brilliant in the way a film containing orcs vs automatic weapons could only be; doesn't pretend to be anything else.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

By the sound of things the good reviews are accurate. However that doesn't make up for the last six which were average at best and were often viewed through those same rose tinted glasses you suspect the reviewers have.

It's also good that the film is capable of standing as a stand alone film if you've not seen any of the others.

the man from uncle. Don't remember much of the original, but if you enjoy slightly comical spy thrillers then its a good enjoyable film.

Sort of hoping someone gets me that for Christmas, SMeK. It looks like one of those films that's worth a watch but probably not worth buying yourself.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

It's certainly worth buying yourself. It doesn't try to be anything it's not, it's a good spy film and I hope there are more of them. This is called operation uncle or codename uncle in the rest of Europe for some reason.
