Problems with a new wireless modem/router

    Hello guys,

I've just brought the Belkin F5D7633-4 wireless router. I've plugged in my network cable and connected it to the router and typed in the ip address for the web user interface (192.168.2.1).

Initially i got to the interface window and so i entered in the user name etc. for my ISP. It then wanted to save and reboot so clicked ok and waited for the router to re-boot.

i waited and waited the web interface at this time went blank - no connection to the router. I couldn't bring it back up and i can't ping it from the command prompt.

Now i've done a few of these in my time but this router just doesn't wanna play ball. I can ping it but that's it.

    Any ideas?

I've got 2 PC's in the office one on the router and one on my old one that's on the internet. even not plugged into the phone line i should still get the web interface up.

try resetting it with the pinhole i guess. If you did mac address filtering and didn't enter the mac of your pc you could have a problem, also if you tick "use as access point" it changes routers ip so it may be harder to find. I got same router as you and i am having massive issues trying to get a connection at new address (it connected a few times but once it dropped i just can't get it back on)
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
